I decided to get to know these two characters so that I can do a real fanart of them soon. They are from Final Fantasy Versus XIII, for those who do not know. Honestly, I am not 100% sure if the profile view of the lady at top is actually Stella; she looks so tough in that image from the trailer, which is a big contrast from her soft facade when she met Noctis while looking at the painting. :shrug:

At any rate, I like how this came out, but I got a little more familiar with their design than I originally intended. The detail got heavy. I worked with a non-photo blue pencil first, then went over it mainly with a 0.3mm mechanical pencil. It was not actually done on this type of paper; I just added that in digitally, but since the main work is traditional, we'll keep it under that category until this is put into the scraps.

This is fantastic work! I love the two styles of pencil how they compliment the portraits, it shows softness on the woman, and a dark edge to Noctis. :+fav:

Thank you very much! Although some of his stuff ends up looking similar, one thing is for sure: Nomura designs some awesome hairstyles doesn't he? I'm glad you think I did them well.

Thanks for the compliments. I like to do things with the hair, so I enjoyed doing these since the reference art had so much hair. Looking forward to your Noctis piece!
